Hi, I’m Kaity Horseman, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in supporting individuals through major life transitions such as: college students, recent graduates unsatisfied with their career paths, working professionals who are juggling the demands of career and family while craving more alignment and purpose, and aging adults in a new phase of life.
My path to becoming a therapist began with my own sense of uncertainty in college. I was a business major who felt disconnected, uninspired, and unsure of what came next. A few pivotal experiences—meeting with a counselor, taking the Highlands Ability Battery, and ultimately switching to a degree in Outdoor Education—helped me reconnect with my values and discover the kind of work that feels meaningful: work rooted in human connection, problem-solving, and growth.
Over the last decade, I’ve supported people in a wide variety of settings—from outdoor education programs and adventure courses to child welfare and mental health treatment centers. These diverse experiences have shaped my belief that change is possible when we feel supported, seen, and connected to our inner wisdom.
In therapy, I bring a grounded, collaborative approach that draws from somatic awareness, mindfulness, values-based work, and nervous system-informed practices. I believe that major life transitions—whether chosen or unexpected—can be powerful invitations to reconnect with yourself and reimagine what’s next.
When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my family, our dog, and our community—or adventuring outside whenever possible. Nature continues to be a source of inspiration, healing, and perspective in both my personal and professional life.
